Saturday i spent the day with Nick. I brought him to the coffee roaster i really like on Pike Place, Victrola, 1. because i wanted him to taste the deliciousness of their coffee beans 2. because i am kind of addicted to their espresso. The barista was really nice and recommended a few places and things for us to check out, including Shorty's, a bar that has pinball machines, arcade games, and shitty nachos galore. It sounds pretty sweet. After coffee, we walked down to Pike's Market. On Pike and 3rd there is this really wonderful hotdog vendor, Beko Gourmet Hotdog Japon, that sells crazy hotdogs, including some weird asian ones that have seaweed or noodles on them. Nick got an amazing chili dog. While waiting for his order to be up, we met a guy named Justin, and his 3 year old dog Banjo, who Justin has had since he was just a pup. Justin rides freight trains all over America, and Banjo comes with him. He's been doing it for the last five years, is originally from Washington and always makes his way back so as to say hello to family and friends. He has a baby on the way, and he's worried it will change things but he really hopes to keep riding trains. I wish him all the best. It's always really great to meet such an interesting person.

A very good chili dog
We walked around Pike's Market and window shopped; i bought a tote bag. We went down to the Waterfront Park, and no matter where i was, if i looked down over the railing, there would be at least 20 jellyfish in sight. It was pretty crazy. We sat down in a shady little park next to the aquarium and enjoyed the warm sunny weather while we people watched. There was a couple smoking a huge doobie, a 3 year old kid with a rat tail wearing a shirt that said "IT'S A SWAG THING U WOULDN'T UNDERSTAND" and a lot of little kids and tweens wearing matching outfits. We got hungry so we went back the the hotel where Nick ordered a meatloaf from the hotel restaurant, the Margaux, and i made two grilled cheese sandwiches. The Margaux makes the best meatloaf i have ever had. i don't understand how or why it's so good but if i had to guess, i'd say it's the carrots.
Look at that tongue
Looks like something out of a Studio Ghibli movie
Some weirdo next to this squid sculpture

Giant cargo ships and cargo cranes in Puget Sound
The Ferris Wheel
A really bougie tea shop, that i would totally go to if i was rich
A bowl in the Mexican Art shop. They had a lot of figures from Oaxaca and a lot of Frida Kahlo inspired art, as well as some humorous Day of the Dead figurines and shadowboxes.
A dog in an airplane
I saw this one eyed dog; he was super stoked on everything
It really does work
